INCBA Europe Conference at CB Expo in Zurich 2022 – a great success!
The 1st Conference for Cannabis Lawyers in Europe on the weekend of September 10th and 11th during the CB Expo was a great experience. During 2 days in 7 sessions, 17 lawyers addressed the main legal issues that currently govern the European cannabis market. The principle of free movement of hemp and cannabis products within th EU, the legal classification of CBD products as food or cosmetics, contractual aspects of importing cannabis products into the EU, as well as the legal hurdles in the legalization of recreational cannabis and much more were intensively discussed by the moderators, speakers and the audience. In the audience itself, there were not only lawyers but also interested entrepreneurs who could take away valuable insights for their businesses.
In addition, there were plenty of networking opportunities, whether at the social reception at Cannavigia on the eve of the conference, at the afterparty of the conference itself, or at the closing dinner with a view of the Swiss Alps. The special atmosphere of the CB Expo with its 2000 attendees, 100 exhibitors, a main stage with panel discussions and another educational program for technical and scientific aspects related to the cannabis plant made this weekend a top class education and networking event.
